Go to “The Offender List” to find information on sex crimes. You can learn about those who are guilty of sex crimes in the past, so you won’t get blindsided when one of these convicts move to your town.

Remember to doublecheck your name and other identification information. There are a lot of names in the world and many of them are quite similar, so you don’t want to walk away from your computer screen thinking your neighbor is a child molestor, just because you put the wrong name into your online searches.

When finding a criminal record online, you have to have their full name. Get any correct address information possible, while collecting background info like maiden names and any known aliases. If you happen to have their social security number, drivers license number or birth date, that would help narrow down the field, too.
